Ziggy Tummy Friendly Snack Bar

The Mommies Reviews

I would like to share a new and unique snack created by a mom and daughter team Ziggy Bars that I received in exchange for this review.

As a mom it breaks our hearts when our children hurt which happens more and more with Charlie. From headaches to stomach problems. At times it seems Charlie is going to live in the restroom and has spent 2 hours at a time on the toilet because his stomach is hurting and he is having to use the restroom and he has trouble popping or he ends up with the runs and almost has accidents which even though I hate to admit it has been happening to me a lot lately.

Before you ask have you taken Charlie to the doctor of course David and I have and they say there is nothing wrong. As a mom I know that isn’t true because I also have stomach problems as well. I’ve tried changing the way we cook and not using Crisco but when eating out we have to take what they use.

As well as limiting how much Cheese and Milk Charlie gets as well as how much Milk I drink which is 2% percent because it goes right through me. This can be embarrassing when out running errands as there isn’t always a restroom near by. When your children only eat certain foods you give them what they will eat which can and does hurt them at times.

Which is why I was BLESSED when the Co-Owner of Ziggy Bars reached out to me letting me know the bars can help with digestion. Being taste-tested by kids I knew these should be something my family would like and no, I wasn’t wrong they are so good. I can’t wait to share then with my sister Debbie who also has stomach issues because there not just for kids.

Ziggy Bars are cut in small Brownie sizes pieces and they are individually wrapped so food will not get wasted. They can be eaten on the go or in the car without creating a mess. Children and adults of all ages can eat these. If you know of a Senor or someone dealing with Cancer please share these bars with them.

The suggested serving size for Ziggy Bars is one bar just like that bowl of Oatmeal with Fruit your have for breakfast Ziggy Bars are made with ingredients that can help support your body’s natural digestive process. Ziggy Bars are crafted without laxatives and solely with real food ingredients. They are part of a balanced diet and should be consumed in a way that best fits your individual dietary needs and they are Gluten-Free.

Chocolate Ziggy Bars

The first bar I asked Charlie to try was Chocolate Ziggy Bars because all three of us love Chocolate and the Chocolate isn’t overpowering. Charlie let me know he wouldn’t mind having these again and he would like to share it with his friends. The bars aren’t to sweet or bitter and there is no, aftertaste.

Peanut Butter Ziggy Bars

I love Peanut Butter and Peanut Butter Cookies as well as Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups but when it comes to mixing Peanut Butter into Brownies or other desserts I always pass on them. But this time I decided to try the bar since I expected David and Charlie to. I loved the taste and you might be surprised but this might be my favorite bar.

About:

Savor the delicious flavor of our Peanut Butter Ziggy Bars. Each snack bar is packed with the smooth, satisfying taste of real peanut butter, blended seamlessly with select ingredients for a perfect snack-time choice. These bars celebrate the timeless appeal of peanut butter, offering a fulfilling and delicious snack that’s both energizing and comforting. Ideal for when you crave a wholesome, peanut buttery snack!

Cinnamon Oat Ziggy Bars

I asked David to try Cinnamon Oat Ziggy Bar to make sure the Cinnamon wasn’t overpowering which it wasn’t. David let me know he couldn’t taste the Oats and I should like it as well. This morning even though Milk bothers me I got a small glass and opened up the package and before I knew what was happening it was all gone and I found myself reaching for another bar. I plan on purchasing this flavor for my snacks in the New Year when I kick off my diet I plan on going on because Slim Fast and Hydroxy Cut ends up making me constipated no, matter how much water I drink and this is going to help me pop and get rid of the problems I have when losing the weight I have to lose.

Meet Rachel

Hello! I’m Rachel, and that adorable little girl in the picture with me is my daughter, Clarice, who is now 21. Back when Clarice was just a tiny munchkin, she faced some tough battles with constipation. I can vividly remember her sitting on her tiny potty, tears streaming down her face, her little tummy tied up in knots. There were even moments when she would become physically sick from being so backed up. And when she did manage to go, it was agonizingly painful for her.

We tried everything to figure out what was causing her discomfort. I wondered if she had a stomach bug or if something she ate didn’t agree with her. Little did I know, after multiple tests and X-rays at the pediatrician’s office, we discovered she was constipated. The doctor prescribed laxatives, but I was determined to find a natural solution. Let’s face it, no one does more research than a mom of a sick child.

After countless hours of research and many MANY failed attempts, I finally created snacks that Clarice would actually enjoy eating. It was a journey of trial and error, requiring compromises along the way. I added fruits, whole grains, and when desperate, even a touch of Miralax to her diet. But when I finally struck gold, not only did my snacks help her “go,” but they also made it softer and easier for her.

A few years later, I opened an in-home daycare that I ran for 11 years. To my surprise, many of the kids in my daycare, affectionately dubbed my “painless babies” by my mom, faced the same constipation struggles as Clarice. I was able to help all of them by continually adjusting my snack recipes to suit their taste buds. It was an ongoing process of trial and error to find the perfect blend of deliciousness and relief.

In my mid-30s, I decided to set a positive example for my daughters and returned to school to pursue a business degree at Cal State Fullerton. During my last semester, while listening to one of my textbooks in the car, it struck me. The book mentioned that if you know of a problem and know how to solve it, you have a business idea. I blurted out, “I know how to make people poop!” and laughed to myself, grateful that no one else was around. But in that moment, I realized I could help numerous people with my snacks. And that’s when Ziggy Bars came to life.

Meet MaryLou

Not just my incredible partner but also the woman who holds the prestigious title of “Mom.”

Let me tell you, I hit the jackpot in the Mom Lottery. Seriously, it’s like I won the ultimate prize! I love working with my mom and she plays an invaluable role in our journey together.

Picture this: She witnesses my daughter Clarice’s potty struggles up close and personal. We’re talking tears, constipation battles, and all the potty drama you can imagine. But fear not, because Mom springs into action with a loving and nurturing spirit that knows no bounds!

But wait, there’s more! Not only does she lend a helping hand to the daycare kids, affectionately known as the “painless babies” (thanks to Mom’s adorable nickname), but she takes it to superhero levels. Picture her sitting beside them, offering comfort and support during their potty struggles, on those infamous Mondays after a long weekend. And guess what? They even start calling her “Mom” after hearing me say it. Talk about honorary potty-related titles!

After witnessing the undeniable positive impact of Ziggy Bars on our family and daycare kids, and beyond, I realized I needed Mom’s superpowers to take our mission to the next level. Her unwavering love, wisdom, and support have been worth their weight in gold. Together, we form a dynamic duo, spreading the magic of Ziggy Bars and making a difference in the lives of others! Mom thought she retired. Haha. Joke’s on you, mom.

We make an unstoppable team, and I’m forever grateful to have my mom by my side

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
