This is a review for Zak who sent me Planeterra Water Bottles in exchange for a review and the DVD Planet Earth, a Seed Pencil and Blooming Papers to help promote Earth Day and Environmental Stewardship.
Zac is partnering with Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics? I didn’t. I also didn’t know what this was which was a #HomeschoolTeachingMoment for my family.
Leave No Trace is a national movement to protect the outdoors by teaching people how to enjoy it responsibly. The member-driven Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics teaches people of all ages how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly, and is the most widely accepted outdoor ethics program used on public lands. Through targeted education, research and outreach, the Center ensures the long-term health of our natural world.
Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics does the following:
- They provide tips to show how easy it is to encourage kids to become lifelong environmental stewards, later on I will be sharing examples of the steps our family is taking to help develop those positive habits in not only Charlie but my nieces and nephews.
In our Homeschool Class this morning Charlie and I watched the video below from LNT sharing information on what kids can do to make a difference. I sent the link to the school Charlie used to attend so the staff could share the Video with there students.
On Monday, during class Charlie and I will be visiting Zak.com to watch the video with more information on Zak’s new Planeterra line that will be posted on the Planeterra landing page.
Once we’ve finished watching the Video we will be making plans on how to help our Environment by visiting the parks in our Community and cleaning up trash.
I had planned on taking Charlie this morning to our local lakes to pick up trash but the LORD had other plans for us. It’s to Cold to get outside and David had to work a double. Not only that Charlie woke up not feeling well.
To keep Charlie hydrated he is using his Planeterra bottle and writing a report on Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor. In a little bit for Art Class Charlie will be creating invitations to invite his friends to the lake with us next week to pick up trash.
Before I could stop Charlie he grabbed Planetrra Water Bottle and headed outside to pick up trash in our yard and to check with the Government Housing by us. Charlie wanted to let them know he would be mowing and picking up trash for any Senors that needed help in there yards for free.
This wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t talked to Charlie about Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. With the Office Manager not knowing anything about Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics Charlie took the link down to the YouTube Video for her to watch. down to watch
On his way home he stopped at the school to share the video link with the Staff. Next week Charlie will be doing a presentation in front of the students. I can’t wait to see where Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics will take Charlie.
Charlie has been fighting depression since he lost all of his friends and isn’t allowed to be around them. The LORD knew our needs and has gotten Charlie up and moving.
Which has also gotten me off the Couch and to stop babying my knee. I want to help clean up our Community and our City. I plan on taking Charlie to our City offices to talk to them about how we can help.
#Homeschooling and Blogging while working with campaigns like Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics is keeping my family sane and healthy. I would like to thank Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics and Zak for this opportunity.
I would like to tell you not only did we get Planeterra Water Bottles but we also received a seed pencil for our children to use and plant when they have finished using the pencil.
When Charlie finishes using the seed pencil we can plant Charlie’s seed pencil in the Cemetery on his sisters grave because Suzzane loved Art just like Charlie does.
In our Garden Charlie and I plan on planting the Blooming Seed Papers which are (Earth shaped paper that sprouts when it’s planted).

Zak Designs Increasing Its Commitment to the Environment
Spokane, WA (April 21, 2021) – Over the years, Zak Designs has taken many strides to be an environmentally conscientious company and provide its customers with products that help them lower their individual carbon footprints. This Earth Day, however, Zak Designs is taking its commitment to the planet to the next level by launching the Planeterra™ line of environmentally responsible products and partnering with Leave No Trace to help spread the message about the importance of protecting nature.
Zak has always worked hard to create environmentally responsible products that are functional enough to meet its high standards of quality and affordable enough for everyone to enjoy.
The new Planeterra line accomplishes those goals in a dramatic way. The products in this revolutionary line are made from an innovative material that can be reused for years but is also designed to breakdown toxin-free in a landfill within 3-5 years under traditional conditions.
On Earth Day, Zak is launching the first product in the Planeterra line, the Terra Bottle. This 18oz water bottle features a built-in carrying handle to make it easy to clip onto backpacks or sports bags as well as a flip-up drinking spout that helps protect it from dirt and germs. The Terra Bottle is dishwasher safe and BPA free and comes in four nature inspired colors.
To make this line even more eco-friendly, Zak is donating a portion of the proceeds from the Planeterra products to benefit The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics and its mission to “protect the outdoors by teaching and inspiring people to enjoy it responsibly.” Because together, we can all make a world of difference.
