Last week we learned about Young Living Vitality Peppermint Oil so this week I wanted to bring you one of my favorite scents that comes in a Oil. We will be learning about Young Living Essential Oils Lavender Vitality. For me I love the cool soothing scent of Lavender as it helps me relax and allows me to get a great nights sleep. I use Lavender not only in cooking but in air fresheners throughout our home.
I would like to remind you I joined Young Living Essential Oils as a consultant and if you click on the links in this post and use my Membership number that I will make a small percentage from the items you purchase. I would like to remind you that even though Young Living Essential Oils can be used in place of medicine Young Living Essential Oils doesn’t make medial claims and it is everyone has there own opinion of the oils.
I have also heard of people using Lavender in the meals they prepare so this morning I wanted to let you know you can use Lavender in dairy recipes, including shortbread, ice cream or even in whipped cream. Or how about a nice refreshing glass of Lavender Lemonade for these hot Summer days we have been battling? Charlie also wanted me to remind you with children getting ready to go back to school that some Lavender Cookies would be fun to make and bring to his teachers.
Use Young Living Lavender Vitality essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia) to create elegant dishes that will impress your family and friends. The herb has a sweet, slightly floral flavor that pairs well with both rich and light foods. Use Lavender Vitality™ essential oil to conveniently add this delightful flavor to your meals.Although more popular with sweeter recipes, Lavender Vitality oil’s benefits extend to savory dishes as well. In fact, lavender is sometimes included in the famous Herbes de Provence along with spices such as marjoram, thyme, oregano, and rosemary. Put a new spin on a classic meal and pair it with chicken, lamb, or even potatoes.
Just a hint can enhance the flavor of your entire recipe. To avoid overwhelming your food, start small. Try dipping a toothpick in your oil and then swirling the toothpick in your food preparations.
