This is a review for You Can Do All Things: Drawings, Affirmations and Mindfulness to Help With Anxiety and Depression published by Kate Allan who sent me a copy of the book in exchange for this review.
I couldn’t wait to sit down and read You Can Do All Things because the cover caught my attention. Charlie and I liked the animal on the cover of You Can Do All Things. I also liked knowing You Can Do All Things was small and pink.
As soon as I started to flip through You Can Do All Things Charlie came and sat down with me to read through You Can Do All Things. Before we knew it we had read You Can Do All Things in just a couple hours.
I love how You Can Do All Things is filled with motivational quotes which Charlie and I will be printing out to hang up in our classroom. I also can’t wait for Charlie to use the pictures from You Can Do All Things to reproduce in our Art class.
Charlie and I were able to talk about Mental Health and Depression and how Depression affects me on a day to day basis. We even will be using You Can Do All Things next year in our Reading Class when we study these illnesses in our Health class.
#1 Bestseller in Mental Health, Depression ─ Mindfulness, Drawings and Meditations

Daily meditations to help with depression and anxiety: Mental health is a topic that affects everyone, though so few are eager to discuss it. You Can Do All Things is a compendium of knowing-yet-supportive illustrations from The Latest Kate, whose thoughtful quotations encourage the reader to be mindful of their own mentality and to take care of themselves, regardless of image or lifestyle. Calming and supportive, the illustrations are also candid about the internal problems many people face in this hectic modern world.
Inspirational, gentle drawings of animals: The Latest Kate’s inventive pairing of whimsical colors and friendly, smiling animals is the spoonful of sugar that makes the heavy subject matter approachable and non-threatening. You Can Do All Things is a welcome addition to any bookshelf or art wall, and its messages are equally applicable to adults and children.
