As we move into the weekend, I thought I would share a new book with you I received in exchange for this review. I would like to ask you to check out Year Of Our Lord: What would Jesus do today? by David Heeren (Author)
Just looking at the title of the book Year Of Our Lord: What would Jesus do today? I sat at my desk and just shook my head. I don’t think we would want to know What Would Jesus do when you look at the world, we live in. Just sit back and think about the things happening in the world drugs, killings and murdering and so much more.
This is not what the LORD had planned for his world. Weve taken the Lord off our money and out of the schools. Although it would be nice if the LORD could come back and straighten the world out turning it into a safe place for our children to live. If we could I believe every one of us should walk a year in the LORDs footsteps. I would ask my family to begin this movement. Would you like to start with me?
Through Year Of Our Lord: What would Jesus do today? you will learn about families who’ve done this and all the challenges they face and how they overcome all the adversities. Hearing their stories make me want to reach out to them and join them in living like they do. I would like to ask if you would like to join us.
About:
What happens when Christian’s pledge to do as Jesus would do for one year? Charles M. Sheldon told the original version of the story, in 1896, in the classic novel, In His Steps. Now, more than a century later, David Heeren posits the same question in a different atmosphere with surprising results.
A group of Floridians who take the pledge see their lives heading in unexpected new directions. Some find romance and adventure. Others face danger and suspense in the midst of a powerful hurricane. All have their faith tested in heart-rending ways ranging from spousal infidelity and loss of income to false arrest and forcible seizure of their children.
The Lord works in mysterious ways, even in the midst of the storm, for the accomplishment of His purposes in their lives.
Thank you,
