World’s Only St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade & Palooza

The Mommies Reviews

I love when friends look out for Charlie and I which is what happened this week. My friend Sonya was online and found information for the World’s Only St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade & Palooza. After looking through the website we’ve decided we will attend the event.

May be an image of 5 people and text that says 'l1th Annual Pickle Parade Palooza March 18-19, 2022 in Historic Downtown Mansfield Special guests Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Texas Country artist Cody Wayne on Friday night Shenaniguns live show Cornhole Tournament Pet Parade Baby Parade Pickle Playground Beer Keg Races More live music Retail vendors Food vendors FREE ADMISSION pickleparade.org'

As Charlie is Homeschooled as you know, and this will be a School/ Field Trip for Charlie. While visiting the Parade I am hoping we can also walk-through Mansfield to see the City. Before attending the event, I will contact the Visitors Center or Chamber of Commerce to see there must have places to visit. If you attend the event, I suggest you do the same.

Join us March 18-19, 2022, for the World’s Only St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade & Palooza in Historic Downtown Mansfield. There will be a Pickle 10k, 5k and Kids K, Pet Parade, live music, Baby Parade, Pickle Playground, Pickle Queens, Beer Keg Races, food and retail vendors, 6-foot dancing Pickle Dude and the World’s Only St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade! Sign up online only at pickle parade.org

If you’re looking for more events once the Parade is over check out Mindy Lu’s Pies pie-eating contest after the parade! Sign up at the Main Stage! Thanks for sponsoring, Mindy Lu’s Pies!!! No, I will not be entering the contest, but I might purchase Pies to bring home if there for sale. Apple for me. Peach for David and for David’s mom Lemon. Would you like for me to get a Pie for you?

Sign up for the Baby Parade and let your Baby Dill shine! Apply at pickleparade.org.

I know if David was off, he would want to join Sign up for the beer keg races at pickleparade.org

Don’t worry about finding a place to park at the Pickle Parade. Leave your car at Legacy High School, 1263 N. Main St., and take the shuttle to downtown.

Meet members of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, get their autographs, see them perform on Main Street and then march in the parade on March 19. Free!

You all know Charlie and I love our Pets and if Charlie knew Pickle Queens love their pets as well and we can enter our pooch, longhorn or pig in the Pet Parade! You can bet your bottom dollar Charlie would want to sign his dog Bear up. up at pickleparade.org. To do that though he would have to come with David who is working that day. Thank the Lord…

If I had gotten in better shape and David was off then we could Dress up and walk, race or stroll the Pickle 5k or 10k! Prize for best costume, too! Sign up at pickleparade.org. But I don’t think my knee would hold up and I’m not sure Sonya would want to join. I will plan ahead and bring David next year giving me a year to get into shape so I can join the walk. Would you like to join my family then?

So much fun to be had in the Pickle Playground! Petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting by Timberview’s art classes, train rides sponsored by Raising Cane’s, climbing wall, pickle ball, community stage, street hockey sponsored by Starcenter Mansfield, and almost everything is free!! March 19 in downtown Mansfield. See you there!
