Wordless Wednesday Jan. 2, 2019 A New Year A New Me!
Welcome to my first #WordlessWednesday for 2019. To hold myself accountable I thought I would showcase my workout. This morning it is raining and it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop anytime soon. I was Blessed as David brought my Tradmill into the living room for me to use in my workout.
I hate to admit it but we are on Day 2. I already messed up as I didn’t walk yesterday but that is okay as I am doubling my walking this morning. I plan on walking a full hour and getting it done before David comes home. This way if we do go out this evening I will be ahead and even closer to my goal of 5,000 steps a day.
Although before the month ends I want to get up to 10,000 steps a day. As I would like to build enough stamina that I can walk5 miles without stopping. Because I would like to join a 5 K of some kind. I have had this Goal for the past couple year and each year I fail. But I am not giving up.
If I want to do this this year is the perfect time as it’s Charlie’s last year in Middle School and if I want Charlie to continue to do things with me I need to get Charlie involved this year. Because next year Charlie may think he is to big to do things with his mom. Because kids do outgrow there parents.
Have a Blessed day, and excuse me as I begin my workout.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
Well I started today too. I talked two of my friends into walking the mile around our building.
We hope to keep this up daily!
I managed almost 4000 steps today.
So I guess that was a good start.
Good luck to you!
