Were busy redecorating our home and when we was in the Fort Worth Stockyards the other day I found these signs I would like to get for our home.
If you listen to me talk you know I am a true Texan ie.. a Redneck because I do say I’m fixin to all the time and I thought this would be appropriate for my dinning room.
When I ask Charlie to do his work he also says “I am fixin to. Do you or your children say this? I can ever hear David saying this at times he just won’t admit it.
I thought I would get this sign because there are words David can’t say and will not try to say. Other times people have to ask us what we say because they don’t understand us.
Although I have heard myself speak at times and yes, I sound like I have a accent but if your from Texas you do as well. Just hold your head up and keep moving forward with that accent.
I hate “whinin” more than anything and I refuse to put up with whinin of any kind. I chose this sign to remind Charlie and David not to whine. I also don’t like listening to others problems and no, drama ever which is why I chose the second sign for my office.
I love “ROSIE” and when I grow up I want to be just like here. This is why I chose “she persisted” because I refuse to give up and having this sign hanging over my desk will remind me of this on a daily basis.
