As soon as I opened With Me In The Storm and began reading. I knew With Me In The Storm was going to be a page turner that I wouldn’t want to put down. Touching on Sex Trafficking allowed me to prepare my son for things that happen in this world he wasn’t too familiar with and allowed me to remind Charlie that even though this usually happens to girls it can also happen to guys which we don’t hear about.
I usually read Comedies, Romances with Christian elements but not suspenseful books but I’ve been wanting to branch out to get my family more involved in reading and I am so glad I read this story which teaches us no, one is perfect. We all face challenges and at times make the wrong decisions.

Glenda, thank you for taking a chance on reading With Me in the Storm. (I know it can be a bit intense in some scenes.) Your point is well taken: trafficking of boys is rarely talked about, which needs to change. I hear many people–parents, teachers, and more–express a desire to get this story into the hands of more young people to help them avoid becoming vulnerable to traffickers. I hope we will all take note of those who need more caring friends to support and encourage them so we can help prevent the painful part of Maddie’s story from repeating itself in their lives. Thanks for sharing this book with your readers!
