I wish I had purchased tickets to Wine and Magic because both Charlie and David haven’t stopped talking about Wine and Magic since I took them the first time. Also David is wanting to go back and try some of the Wine and Foods you will find at Checkered Past Winery.

Shows will be held at 7:30 and 9:30 pm on November 24, 2018.

Dallas, Texas – November 6, 2018 – The popular illusion show Wine and Magic will host shows on Thanksgiving weekend, November 24, 2018, atCheckered Past Winery (1409 S. Lamar, Suite 008, Dallas, TX 75215), recently named the Best Wine Bar in Dallas by D Magazine. Show times are 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm.

“Between Thanksgiving and my hectic tour schedule, we didn’t think we would be able to pull off a Wine & Magic show in November”, says Watson. “But then we got some requests from people hoping to bring their family visiting from out of town to the Wine & Magic show on Thanksgiving weekend. So, we decided to schedule a one-night only Wine & Magic night on Saturday, November 24th to accommodate their wishes. That’s one of the great things about the show. Unlike a lot of entertainment options, this is a show enjoyed by teenagers and grandparents alike, which makes it a perfect post-Thanksgiving activity.

Watson has added new elements to the show, including high-tech illusions with his new “assistant” Amazon Alexa.

Single tickets are $20. VIP tickets are $80 for four and come with reserved seating and one complimentary appetizer for the table.

Checkered Past Winery

Checkered Past Winery is an urban Dallas wine pub located in the historic South Side building (1409 South Lamar Street Suite 008) featuring Texas wines, locally brewed beer, and some of the best wines from other parts of country and the world. Co-founder, owner, and winemaker Sandro DiSanto is a first generation American coming from an Italian wine background. Both of his grandfathers made wine in Sicily. His brother-in-law Scott Relyea co-founded and designed the Mods and Rockers pub Checkered Past Winery in 2015. Carolynne Chancellor joined them as owner and grows wine grapes in East Texas.
