A couple months ago we attended When You Wish Upon A Star Disney-oke at Alamo DraftHouse in Fort Worth, Texas. Before we headed to Alamo DraftHouse I wanted to make sure children could attend because they was hosting the event in the Bar/Restaurant.
I was told When You Wish Upon A Star Disney-oke was for everyone of all ages. We arrived and found seats inside the bar. I liked seeing they had the Patio Doors open. Charlie could play the games outside and we could see him at all times.
David ordered a Beer and I ordered a Aladdin inspired Cocktail which I enjoyed a lot. David tried my drink as well and said he wished he had ordered it in place of his Beer.
Karaoke began and the host explained how everything would work. I enjoyed seeing both adults and children singing. Charlie wanted to sign but was nervous and decided not to try.
I’m hoping they host another Karaoke night because I believe Charlie might sing at the next event. Also, I have friends and family who missed Disney Karaoke but would like to attend the next event.
You may think you’ve karaoke’d but until you’ve sung “Riffraff!
Street rat! Soundrel! Take that!” at the top of your lungs for a captive audience, you haven’t really lived.
