Good morning, If you look below at the prompt for the Ultimate Blog Challenge #BlogBoost it says Day 28 and in reality we are on Day 30. The reason is I couldn’t make myself post something about Politics as I had decided 9 years ago when I begin the blog to not share these articles on my site.
As I set up the blog I did sit down and talk to David about it and I asked him what he thought and he told me to do what was right for me. Because if it was his site he wouldn’t post about politics either. So as soon as I saw this challenge I struggled with what I wanted to say. I set it aside and I Prayed about it.
So today I am here not because I have decided what I want to say but because I had promised myself I was going to blog for 30 days and not miss a day. So even though I can blog about anything I chose or use the prompt today I just want to wish you a Blessed weekend and to ask if you share politics on your site?
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David
Since I mostly write my blogs the evening before the suggested email comes out, I rarely use the topic. Sometimes it works out if I don’t get it written the night before.
I would have written mine the night before but David and Charlie
are home and some how Blogging at night isn’t easy as someone
always wants something or we aren’t home. So in the morning is
when I blog and I wait for the prompt even though I always
have lots to say. Have a Blessed day.
I always waited as it was easier for me most days.
Although there was a couple times I didn’t get the
post at all so I just shared what I was thinking.
Have a great day.
I don’t try to stir the pot on my blog. I figure, if I wanted to turn my blog into a political rant (and I have made my feelings known several times over the past couple of years) I would start another blog for that. I think of my blog as being a place where people can come to escape the pressures of modern life in the United States. So, “rarely” is the answer to the question on if I get political. (And, you did this just right in this post, I think!)
Thank you as I struggled and Prayed and knew I needed to stay
true to mine and my families beliefs and that is just what
I did. So I appreciate your support and knowing you did the
same thing I do. I wish you a great week.
Thank you as I am sure I did the right thing. Have a Blessed day.
