What About Digital Tech

Children's Book Reviews Homeschool Resources

I would like to share a Tech-Help book I received for children What About Digital Tech by BAPTISTE MASSA ; PASCAL LEMA? TRE TOURBILLON which is a Twirl ie Chronicle Books which I received in exchange for this review.

Charlie and I can will be using What About Digital Tech when we study Electronics and Computers in his Homeschool Computer Class. Would you like to join us in class?

Charlie and I had fun looking at all the illustrations on the cover of the book including the sign that say no more screens! Which we need to do every day so we can get back to spending time together. The book is done is cream or brown and a pretty green my sister would love.

Charlie also wanted to know how did his grandparents live without cell phones just like the book asked. Charlie and I read through the table of contents and found so many chapters we wanted to check out that we just decided to start with chapter one.

Charlie had fun seeing what the first computer looked like. Then we discussed who invented digital technology. There is a list of famous people in the digital tech work that Charlie and will be studying this year. Would you like to join Charlie in class and see who he will be studying?

I enjoyed learning exactly what the internet is. The book touched on what a hacker is which is something we all deal with each and every day. I’ve always wondered if people can see us through the camera on our internet and the book touches on this subject as well.

Now, I am not going to tell you what else you will find inside What About Digital Tech because I want you to pick up a copy of the book to share with your friends. If your purchasing teachers gifts this year make sure you get a copy of the book for computer teachers in your children’s schools.

You might think What About Digital Tech is only for older middle school children but not only children of all ages but adults as well can learn new things from the book. I can’t wait to put everything Charlie and I learned into place which will help me become a better teacher and blogger. Also you will want to check out the other books in the series which will make teaching homeschool easy breezy.
