Wednesday Season 1 DVD (Review)

The Mommies Reviews

I would like to share our thoughts on Wednesday Season 1 the DVD from the Imagination of Tim Burton which I received a copy of in exchange for this review. Inside the review is my affiliate links if you click on the links and make a purchase I will make a small percentage from the items you purchase.

“Wednesday” came from the creators Alfred Gough and Miles Miller from Smallville fame and Tim Burton which most of us know from the movie Nightmare Before Christmas and yes, Charlie Beetlejuice as well. As soon as I mentioned Tim Burton and “Wednesday” to Charlie and David they couldn’t get the TV turned on fast enough and the Blue Ray Player set up to watch the movie.

Charlie and David have been obsessed with Wednesday from the Adam’s Family movies and have to watch any shows about them and we’ve even attended a play based on the show. I knew the DVD would make a wonderful Christmas Gift for Charlie but I’ve been trying to get Charlie and David to spend more one on one time together and having the DVD accomplished that.

If you like the Adamas Family and Wednesday as much as Charlie and David do you will be able to purchase your own DVD on March 26th and I would get it as soon as possible because I bet you they sell out of the Blue Ray Disc. There was a bunch of actors I didn’t recognize in the DVD which made watching the DVD more interesting and I liked Catherine Zeta-Jones performance as Morticia Addams.

I thought it was fun following Wednesday along as she attend Nevermore Academy which Charlie and I would like to visit. We see her psychic ability as she works to stop a monstrous killing spree that I thought would keep me awake but it didn’t. This incident involved her parents 25 years ago which is longer than Charlie has been alive he said.

We liked the suspense and drama in the DVD. I enjoyed the actors and actresses costumes and the expressions on there faces kept my family on the edge of out sit the entire time. Wednesday is a move we will watch again and again as well as share the Blue Ray Disc with our family and friends. Would you like to join us for a movie night?

About the DVD

Director Tim Burton has his series debut in this creepy and kooky series that follows Wednesday Addams’ misadventures as a student at Nevermore Academy: a very unique boarding school snuggled in deepest New England. Jenna Ortega stars.

Thank you,
