We weren’t given Spelling Words this week in Charlie’s classroom or Handwriting due to the Labor Day Holiday. This week all Charlie has had is his math worksheet each day. Since Charlie wasn’t given a new Reading log, he thought that meant he didn’t have to read this week. I wasn’t sure about Charlie not reading, so I have been having him read each day and keeping a log he can turn in tomorrow. Even if the teacher doesn’t accept it, Charlie has gotten in reading practice. Which he always need as he struggles with reading.
For Spelling, I found a list of 3rd grade Spelling words on 3 Boys and A Dog, and she has the first three weeks of Spelling words done for us. Here are the links to the worksheets so you can check them out as well.

Third Grade Spelling Curriculum Week Two
Third Grade Spelling Curriculum Week Three
Then check back each week on 3 Boys and a Dog as she will have a new week up for us each week. I love knowing with each set of Spelling Words they come with a set of worksheets the kids can do. Even though Charlie is back in public school, I am still Homeschooling Charlie some I can make sure he is at the right grade level, and these Spelling worksheets sure have made teaching Charlie spelling so much more comfortable.
I hope they help you with your students as much as they did me, please take the time to stop by 3 Boys and A Dog and let her know how much you appreciate the worksheets, so she knows we are using them.
Let me share a little secret with you as I was leaving 3 Boys and A Dog today after printing out the Spelling worksheets for Charlie I looked down her sidebars. I found Cursive and Print Letter Matching Printable Worksheets that I can’t wait to print out and use with Charlie.
If there is something you’re looking for your classroom, you should take the time to search 3 Boys and A Dog as she has so many fun worksheets on her site that she just might have what you are looking for.
