David & I have said we need to take family photos only we never take the time to get them done. Which isn’t good because time goes by so fast and children will be grown and out of the house.
As I was looking for some photos of Suzzane, it dawned on me that I didn’t have that many of her and she is gone. I can’t change that so it’s time to do something about that with Charlie.
I was online talking to Monica Jones I noticed she owns a photography business. I can’t wait until were back on our feet and can have new photos of the family taken and even (headshots) for the blog.
I need to make sure Leslie has Monica’s information so she can get pictures of the new baby when he arrives. If I could, I would like to have a picture of Les, Charlie, David, Toby and the baby.
Encase something happens to Toby because Toby is fighting Cancer. If something happens we would have a photo of the kids. Charlie would always have a picture of Toby if we he loses his battle with Cancer. We all know, life can change in the blink of an eye and someone who is here today can be gone tomorrow.
I hope you take the time to check out Mojo Photos and also her Real Estate photos would be good for Sheri Andreo and I wish I had known Monica did Real Estate photos before we started remodeling our home
Having photos done would have allowed us to have pictures of the way our home looked before the remodeling and after the remodeling was done and show everyone how much work we did to turn our house into a home for Charlie, David and I.
Then I could ask Monica to include our doggies in the photos because Sandi is getting older. It would be nice to have a professiona picture of Sandi before something happens to her because I wasn’t able to get a photo of Suzzane’s dog Sam or my Saint Bernard Apache.
As you go through your day think back to the last time you and your family had family photos taken. If it’s been a while contact Monica to book your photo shoot know. Before we know it this year will be gone.
HELLO + WELCOME
The best part of being a photographer is preserving special moments in people’s lives. Sometimes its simply the love that you feel for your family, or that your little ones are growing up so fast and you want to capture that moment in time. Of course, sometimes, you need to sell your house or listing and awesome pictures can help to kick up interest in your home and will not hurt those sales.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
My background is as varied as my subjects. I started out in front of the camera with big dreams and a vivid imagination. By the time I finished college and moved to LA, I thought I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. But life always has different plans, and I ended up back in Texas selling Real Estate for about six years.
There were so many aspects of that career path that I loved, but it still wasn’t the perfect fit for me. I have an amazing and supportive husband, and he encouraged me to turn my passion for capturing the world into a career. So I began Real Estate Photography.
What a rush! I could see behind the scenes of American life without the stress of contracts and hoping that funding would go through. After a while, friends and family were interested in utilizing my services for capturing their own private and precious moments. Word of mouth started spreading, and now my little endeavor has indeed grown into a fantastic career for the girl who couldn’t grow up.
When I’m not shooting homes and people, I am in my little slice of Americana with my fantastic hubby, gorgeous daughter, and two furbabies.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
