He was one of the creators of creation of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) 1909
He edited The Crisis a magazine from 1910 to 1934
W. E. B. Du Bois created a collection of essays The Souls of Black Folk (1903) which is a landmark of African American Literature
W. E. B. Du Bois graduated from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennesse in 1888 Historically Black Institution
He received a Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1895.
