Vince Gill Releases Double-Vinyl The Christmas Collection Exclusively for Cracker Barrel.
Nashville, TN- October 15, 2018 — Vince Gill: The Christmas Collection has been released as a limited-edition, double-vinyl set available exclusively at Cracker Barrel Stores nationwide. The MCA Nashville double LP includes 1993’s platinum #1Billboard Holiday Album, Let There Be Peace on Earth on green vinyl and 1998’s Breath of Heaven, recorded with the Patrick Williams Orchestra on red vinyl. The collection includes such classics as “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” “The Christmas Song” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. The 21-time Grammy Award-Winning Artist also lends his voice to Elvis Presley’s 1957 hit, “Blue Christmas”.

Also included in the package are Gill’s classic versions of “O Holy Night,” “Let There Be Peace On Earth,” featuring a then 11-year-old daughter Jenny Gill, and “Breath of Heaven,” a song co-written by Gill’s wife and star of the Contemporary Christian genreAmy Grant.
Gill and Grant are set for a 12-night engagement as part of their much-beloved Christmas at the Ryman performances, beginning on November 28 and ending December 23. ABOUT VINCE GILL: One of the most popular singers in modern country music, Vince Gill is famous for his top-notch songwriting, world-class guitar playing and warm, soaring tenor, all wrapped up in a quick and easy wit.

Gill achieved his big breakthrough in 1990 with “When I Call Your Name,” which won both the Country Music Association’s Single and Song of the Year awards as well as a Grammy.

Gill has won 18 CMA Awards, including Song of the Year four times – making him the most-awarded artist in that category in CMA history. Since 1990, Gill has won 21 Grammy Awards.

A wide-ranging songwriter, his compositions earned him entry into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2005. The Academy of Country Music has awarded Gill eight awards, including its prestigious Home Depot Humanitarian Award and the 2011 Career Achievement Award.

Gill was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007. He is also a member of the Grand Ole Opry. In August 2012, Gill was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

He is a member of the Grammy-winning band The Time Jumpers. Gill has produced albums for The Time Jumpers, LeAnn Rimes, Amy Grant and Ashley Monroe and has made guest appearances on more than 1000 albums, including those  by Barbra Streisand, Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, George Jones and others.

In 2017, Gill was invited to join the Eagles for a number of festival shows and will continue to join them onstage throughout 2018. Gill’s latest album is Down To My Last Bad Habit.
