It’s hard to believe as long as we’ve been Homeschooling that I am just now finding out about Up Right Theater Company that is right in my backyard. Which is fine as it gives us a new place to visit on our Homeschool Field Trip Days. Would you like to go with us?
I would like to take my niece Lily to see RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER, JR. during the School Holidays. Unlike Charlie Lily attends a Public School. Before you ask what about Charlie. He is getting older and sometimes doesn’t want to see these Play. But if Lily goes I am sure Charlie will as well. Because there partners in crime.

The holiday classic soars off the screen in this 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved television special. Filled with holiday hits like “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “A Holly Jolly Christmas,” Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™ JR. features all of your favorite characters including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius and, of course, Rudolph. It’s an adventure that teaches us that what makes you different can be what makes you special.
Children are encouraged to dress in their best holiday attire and will have an opportunity to meet Rudolph and friends after the show.

Upright Theatre Co. is excited to partner with education programs to provide a virtual Performing Arts Enrichment Program for the 2020-2021 school year. The program will feature six week long instructional units ranging from Exploring the Arts through History and Pop Culture to The Art of Production Design. Each lesson will feature 30 minutes of pre-recorded instruction taught by theater industry professionals, along with a 15-20 minute activity that can be explored by students individually at home or in groups during in-person training. Accompanying these lessons, Upright Theatre Co. will provide instructor lesson plans and digital study guides for students featuring curriculum connections, opportunities for exploration of social and emotional learning concepts, and tips for real-life application of the skills being covered.
