What: National Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens who are of Hispanic and Latinx heritage. The observation started in in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week by President Lyndon Johnson and expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover a 30-day period, from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. This celebration also pays tribute to the generations of Hispanic and Latinx Americans who have positively influenced and enriched the nation, workforce, and society. (Source🙂

The UTI Division operates 16 campuses in 9 states and offers a wide range of transportation and skilled trades technical training programs under brands such as UTI, MIAT College of Technology, Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, Marine Mechanics Institute, and NASCAR Technical Institute.
