“My dad was an avid motorcycle racer and enthusiast back in the 1960s and 1970s. He was always into European bikes. In his later years, he started buying vintage bikes at estate sales and salvage yards and then restoring them as a hobby. I grew up around these things, so there’s a lot of nostalgia for me.  My brother and I refuse to let these bikes leave our family, so we just make sure they stay running and in good condition. These bikes are my father’s legacy,” commented Darrin Brust, UTI-Houston campus president. Brust keeps five motorcycles in his collection at his home in the Houston suburbs.
