Confucius Day – Try your luck. Get a Fortune Cookie.
Confucius was an early Chinese Philosopher and to this day, Confucius is known as one of the world’s greatest Philosophers. Therefore, is it only fitting that today Confucius Day, was created to honor him and what he brought to mankind.
Born in China on October 18, 551 B.C., Confucius is one of the earliest, and perhaps the first great Philosopher. Confucius was also a teacher, a scholar, and a politician and he gave the world many teachings, and the world 499 famous sayings.
Celebrate Confucius Day by learning more about this ancient Philosopher, and read his teachings and sayings.
Many comical and humorous sayings have been created and referenced as sayings of Confucius, usually titled “Confucius Says”. As a rule of thumb, if the saying is humorous, chances are its not a true saying by this great scholar.
Thank you,
