Hermit Day

If ever there was a day to crawl into your shell all be yourself/. When we should talk to no one. Acting like a hermit crab, today is that day because its Hermit Day. A quiet day to spend quietly in seclusion, all by yourself.

For some people, being a recluse is a way of life and they spend everyday by themselves, in peaceful seclusion. For whatever reason. Hermits prefer living away from crowds and the Sea of humanity. For many of us who lead an increasingly busy lifestyle, the idea of being a “Hermit for a Day” is tempting. The thought of getting away from it all, is very appealing.

If you are a Hermit, celebrate your lifestyle today and if you’re one of the many, who yearn for a break from your hectic lifestyle, be a Hermit on this Holiday. Chill out by yourself where no one can find you.

Spend this day in a secluded area or environment. May I suggest you do so with a reading book and I hope no one interrupts your the calm and serenity.

National Cat Day

They say “every dog has his day” and it’s only fitting that every cat has her Holiday, too. You’d better treat your cat like a queen today. They deserves it, as today is National Cat Day and I get the feeling that today is going to be an absolutely purr-fect day.

National Cat Day was created for a number of reasons. First, its a Holiday to celebrate and enjoy quality time with your Cat. Treat her royally. Feed your Cat special treats, give her Catnip, and buy your Cat new toys. If you don’t have a Cat? Another reason for this Holiday is to encourage people to adopt a Cat. When you do , you’re in for a rewarding experience. There are Animals out there who need your love and care.  Another reason for this Holiday, is to bring awareness and action for better welfare of Cats. If you can make time today to Volunteer at a Pet Rescue Organization.

National Frankenstein Day

Doctor Frankenstein created a living Monster from body parts of the dead. In his laboratory, he made the Monster come to life. Frankenstein is the name given to this Monster, named after his creator. There are three known Frankenstein “days” and as a result, there’s a little confusion. We have Frankenstein Friday, National Frankenstein Day, and Frankenstein Day. Each one of them is a Monster of a Holiday.

Let me clarify these three days for you…….

Frankenstein Day is on August 30 and this Holiday is in honor of Author Mary Wollenstone Shelley who was born on August 30,1797. Mary Wollenstone Shelley wrote the book “Frankenstein “in 1818. This Holiday is in honor of her birth.

Frankenstein Friday is the last Friday in October. Originally, we traced references back to a website on Frankenberry Cereal, which suggests a commercial origin. Recently, the creator came forward and told us about this Holiday that he created.

National Frankenstein Day Google posts this as October 29th. We haven’t been able to verify that this as a true National Day but our latest research suggests this day is really Frankenstein Friday.

Are you still confused? If so celebrate all three of these Holidays!

Thank you,
