Extraterrestrial Abductions Day
Extraterrestrial Abductions Day is today, and Alien UFO’s may be everywhere, looking to abduct humans. If you are not careful, perhaps Ailen UFO’s will find you! Keep one eye on the sky and if you see a UFO, be ready to duck, and hide. Of course, there are more than a few people out there, who are looking to be abducted by Aliens. Their goal is to travel to an alien planet.
Celebrate today by reading and watching science fiction stories about UFOs and Extraterrestrials. Make sure to keep out of sight of extraterrestrials.
Most lovable alien: “ET” and this is the movie Charlie, and I will be watching this morning. Would you like to join us and I will make popcorn for everyone.
Favorite alien: “My Favorite Martian” this is one show I might have watched as a child because my family did but if so, I don’t remember it and I don’t think I want to watch it now. Although, I bet you David and Charlie would enjoy this show.
History and Origin of “Extraterrestrial Abductions Day”:
Our research did not find the creator, or the origin of this Holiday but from what we have gathered, we believe the creator has been abducted by aliens, and is rumored to be living on a planet in a galaxy far, far away. The suspects are believed to have fled the area in a very high-speed vehicle.
International Day of Happiness– always celebrated March 20th.
Don’t Worry, be happy because today is International Day of Happiness. According to the UN, “Today is a day to be happy, of course!” The UN created and celebrated this holiday annually and forever, as a way to “recognize the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world”. Every year the UN issues a theme for this Holiday. In 2020, the theme was “Happy Together”. This theme was announced well before the onset of the global Coronavirus Pandemic in 2020. It is quite ironic that this theme was selected, while the virus caused extreme social distancing. With the whole world caught up in this pandemic, it becomes easy to recognize and appreciate how family, friends, and humanity in general impacts our happiness and happiness is very much connected with being together.
Celebrate today by being with family, friends, and if you can’t be together physically, take the time to call the people you love on the phone. We are certain the more people you connect with today, the happier you will be.
Song for Today: “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”, by Bobby McFerrin. This song was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart for two weeks and a Grammy winner for song of the year.
History and Origin of “International Day of Happiness”:
This Holiday was conceived and founded by Jayme Illien, CEO of the United Nation New World Order. On July 12, 2012, UN resolution 66/281 was passed, proclaiming March 20 forever to be International Day of Happiness. This resolution was initiated by the country of Bhutan.

International Earth Day– Always on Vernal Equinox
International Earth Day was initiated to make Earth inhabitants aware of their responsibility to care for the planet. This care includes environmental and natural resources. International Earth Day was founded by John McConnell, of Davis City, Iowa. In September 1969, John McConnell proposed the establishment of Earth Day to the San Francisco, California Board of Supervisors. After approval, he gained support from many others, including then UN General Secretary, U Thant.
In 1970, McConnell wrote an Earth Day Proclamation which was ultimately signed by UN Secretary General U Thant on March 21, 1971.
This Holiday is also called Sun-Earth Day
International Earth Day is different from the U.S. Earth Day.
Ladies and gentlemen, this could be a big, big day because it’s Proposal Day! Valentine’s Day last month came and went. He didn’t, or couldn’t, gather up the nerve to ask you to marry him and now along comes another day and another opportunity.
For those in love, this could very well be the big day that will change your lives.
Use caution on this day and when he begins by saying: “I would like to propose to you….”, he may end with ” let’s go see a movie.” Remember, it’s Proposal Day and it is a day to make proposals. However, it may not be the one you want to hear.
If you don’t want to entertain a proposal today, we suggest that you make yourself sparse.
With all the suggestions about romance on Proposal Day, one must recognize that this day can be about ANY type of proposal. For example, legislators may propose a new law, you might attend a meeting about a new business proposal, or a friend may simply propose that you go to a movie or a ball game.
Spring (Vernal) Equinox – date varies
Date When : March 19, 2020; March 20, 2021; March 20, 2022; March 20, 2023; March 19, 2024; March 20, 2025
Ah, Spring! A time when “a young man’s thoughts turn to thoughts of love” and outdoors. Fishing and gardening and let’s not leave out the ladies. Spring brings out these thoughts and more, for ladies and gentlemen. So, let’s go and enjoy what many believe to be the best Season of them all!
The Spring Vernal Equinox brings days and nights into equal proportions. Spring Vernal Equinox is simply the day when there is exactly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of nighttime. But did you know that Spring Vernal Equinox is only true on the Equator? For the rest of us, the timing is a little sooner, or later, depending upon where we live on the planet. We won’t go any deeper than that.
World Sparrow Day – always held on March 20
If you are in the Country of India today, there are celebrations all over the Country to celebrate World Sparrow Day. It is also celebrated in Europe, and to a lesser degree Africa. The holiday has yet to catch on in the United States and the rest of North and South America. We hope after you read this article, you will put this Holiday on your calendar, and help spread the word about Sparrows and World Sparrow Day.
World Sparrow Day is an international initiative sponsored by the Nature Forever Society of India and the Eco-Sys Action Foundation of France. These two organizations recognize the declining populations, especially in big cities. They are also concerned over the negative impact of a changing environment on these Birds. The goal of this Holiday is to raise public awareness about Sparrows and celebrate the relationship between Sparrows and humans.
Sparrows are a popular bird at your backyard bird feeder, especially in Winter when food sources dwindle as Winter progresses. Bird watchers are thrilled by their presence. Sparrows often visit bird feeders in waves, and they crowd the bird feeder and the ground in search of high energy seeds. A large population of Sparrows can empty the seeds in your feeder in a single day.
Celebrate World Sparrow Day by setting up a bird feeder and watching these, Birds and I would like to encourage you to create and participate in events celebrating Sparrows.
