Good morning welcome to our series sharing Unique Holidays: July 7th, 2021. Take a look at the Holidays being celebrated this morning and let me know which one you most would like to celebrate and why.
For me I’m excited to celebrate Chocolate Day. I think I will teach Charlie to make a Chocolate Spice Cake in our Homeschool Cooking Class. Would you like to have a slice of cake and a glass of milk with me?
Charlie doesn’t eat Cake and he also says he doesn’t eat Chocolate but I bet if David brought home a Hershey’s Chocolate with Almonds or a Snickers he would eat them.
David said he wouldn’t mind a piece of Cake but then he said he might prefer Brownies without Nuts he doesn’t know what is good or a German Chocolate Shake from Braum’s.
Chocolate Day is always held on July 7 although, some people want to celebrate Chocolate Day everyday! Chocolate Day is the perfect opportunity to eat you favorite Chocolates just don’t overdo it.
Now, I have a question for you. Do you really need an excuse to over indulge with your favorite food treat? I know I don’t and it is hard to overdo it.
Chocolate is America’s favorite flavor and it’s the flavor of choice in Candies, Ice Cream, Cakes, Breakfast Cereal, Toppings, and a whole host of Desserts. Unequaled in popularity, Chocolate certainly deserves a day in it’s honor.
Did you know? Chocolate is a Vegetable which comes from the Cacao tree found in Tropical Rain Forests. Wouldn’t it be fun to visit the Tropical Rain Forest and find a Cacao Tree and get our own Chocolate?
We don’t need to tell you what to do to celebrate Chocolate Day, do we? Eat Chocolate! Of all kinds and don’t forget to share with your friends and family.
I’d give up chocolate, but mama didn’t raise a quitter

Breakfast: Purchase your favorite Chocolate Cereal along with two or three Chocolate Cream-filled Donuts. then wash these down with a little Hot Chocolate or Chocolate Milk.
Mid-morning snack: A Chocolate Candy bar (with or without nuts) to hold you over and give you a boost until lunch. For me I think I will have a Mr. Goodbar. How about you?

Mid-Afternoon: Eat healthy(???) with Chocolate Covered Raisins (Goobers). This contains both vegetable and fruit.
Dinner: If you are an adult, sip a Chocolate Liqueur before dinner. Chocolate flavored Coffee is a must with dinner. Dessert is none other than Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Pie or Brownies. It’s your choice as long as its Chocolate…

Global Forgiveness Day , also called “World” or “National”
Global Forgiveness Day is held on July 7 and this Holiday is also referred to as “World Forgiveness Day” and “National Forgiveness Day”.
International Forgiveness Day is held on the first Sunday of August
Forgiveness Day is a time to forgive and to be forgiven and it must be a pretty good thing, because there are two major organizations in particular that lay claim to creating a Forgiveness Day.
If you dig deeply, you will discover that there are a number of other “Forgiveness” days, created by primarily Religious Organizations, or organized groups promoting the concept of forgiveness. These holidays are world or international events.
There’s enough trouble and strife in the world and the existence of multiple forgiveness days can only help to make the world and your life a little better. We agree with the sponsors of this day, that a little more forgiveness will help to make the world a much better place.
All of the holidays promoting Forgiveness, have one thing in common: to forgive and forget wrongs. Put aside the grudges and bury the hatchet. End the feuds.
Life is too short to hold in the pain and anxiety. Instead, forgive people and you will find your life is calmer, and more peaceful. Forgiveness goes both ways.
While much of the focus of these days encourages you to forgive others, it is also important to seek forgiveness to both God and others, for any wrongs you have done.
Global Forgiveness Day began in 1994 and the Holiday was created and is sponsored by the Christian Embassy of Christ’s Ambassadors. This holiday originated in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Depending upon a variety of sources, this special holiday is sometimes called World Forgiveness Day or National Forgiveness Day.
International Forgiveness Day was created by the World Forgiveness Alliance, a Non-denominational, Educational foundation.
According to their website: ” International Forgiveness Day dedicated to evoking the healing power of forgiveness worldwide.” The founder is Robert W. Plath, from Mill Valley, California.
Do your part. Use today to clear your conscience and your Soul and take a few moments to sincerely forgive someone and to ask forgiveness of others. If possible, make this public and that way forgiveness will spread.
In Religions:
** The Jewish celebration of Yom Kippur is a day of Atonement or forgiving.
** In Christian Religions, the first Sunday before Lent is called “Forgiveness Sunday”.
“To err is human. To forgive is divine.”
Other Forgiveness Day Dates:
Many Organizations, often Religious groups, have held “Forgiveness Days” on various dates during the year. Many of them are one-time or small, localized events
Father Daughter Take a Walk Together Day
The relationship between a father and a daughter is a very special one. While dad is struggling to balance work and home life, little girls grow up all too quickly. (Dad, don’t you wish you could keep them just the age they are right now!?)
This means the time spent together is very, very special. Grown up daughters are wrapped up in their own busy lives. That makes the limited time available to spend with dad even more precious. Yes, Father Daughter Take a Walk Together Day a very special occasion indeed.
Use Father Daughter Take a Walk Together Day as a time to bond with each other and to renew bonds, and create new memories. You don’t have to spend the entire day together to make a “memory last a lifetime”. A simple walk will do.
Spend that time talking about anything and everything. What you talk about, is nowhere near as important as just strolling along together, on a bright and sunny summer day.
Find things to laugh about, too with your daughter and the things might be the funny way a toad hops across the path in front of you. Or, share a memory from years past.
Do You want to make it a perfect and the most memorable day ever then Father Daughter Take a Walk Together Day? Plan your walk with a stop at your and your daughter favorite place to get treats.
History and Origin of Father Daughter Take a Walk Together Day:
Our research did not find the creator, or the origin of this Holiday but we did track the day down to at least 2009. From 2009 through 2016, it was called Father Daughter Take a Walk Together Day. In 2017 websites, apparently incorrectly, added the word “National” to the title.
National Strawberry Sundae Day
National Strawberry Sundae Day is your opportunity to indulge yourself in adelicious dessert. Strawberries are one of America’s favorite fruits. When Strawberries ripen each year, it’s time to celebrate.
Many communities hold Strawberry festivals to celebrate the Harvest. At the festivals, sSrawberries take center stage. Strawberries are the ingredients of hundreds of recipes.
After the Harvest has come and gone, Summer arrives with heat and humidity. This is the perfect time to add sweet, tasty Strawberries to Ice Cream for a cooling Summer treat. Don’t forget to add your favorite toppings and Whipped Cream is a must. Chocoholics will love the Sundae with a little Chocolate Syrup topping.
Celebrate today, with a Strawberry Sundae.

I would like to tell you a joke about Strawberry Jam on a piece of Bread, but you might spread it.
The History and Origin of National Strawberry Sundae Day:
Our research did not find the creator, or the origin of this day but we fully expect to see this holiday in June, when the Strawberry harvest is in full swing.
