Good morning, welcome to our series sharing Unique Holidays: February 7th, 2022. With Covid on the rise it’s been hard to see friends making Send a Card to a Friend Day even more important to me because I haven’t got to see most of my friends since last year.
This morning in Creative Writing Charlie and I will be looking for E Cards we can send to the ladies we usually have lunch with. Along with my sister and Charlie’s grandmother who we haven’t seen as well. Would you like a card as well? If so leave me a comment and email where to send the card to.
Send a Card to a Friend Day – obviously created by a card company- February 7th.
Send a Card to a Friend Day is a chance to get in touch with a friends or family. We all lead busy lives and it’s easy to let a friendship or two expire, as we try to shuffle kids to and from events making it hard to stay in touch, when workload demands eat up countless hours.
Today is the perfect chance to send a card to a friend. A paper card, or an Ecard, is just fine. You may likely find an Ecard is quicker and easier and, you will save on postage, too.
History and Origin of Send a Card to a Friend Day:
Our research did not find the creator, or the origin of this Holiday but our conclusion is this Holiday was originated by stationery or Ecard companies.
Wave All you Fingers at Your Neighbor Day– always held on February 7th.
Wave All Your Fingers at Your Neighbor Day is the opportunity to greet your neighbor with a big wave. But, to show your respect and appreciation on this Holiday, you must wave with all of your fingers!
Without a doubt, this Holiday was created to put a smile on your face, and upon your neighbors. Its intent is to be friendly and create better relations. We believe you should also use the term “Neighbor” loosely. Go out and greet everyone today with a big five fingers wave.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
