There are people who get a charge out of National Battery Day. They are energized about the many uses and for batteries. Today is an opportunity to celebrate a battery which are used everywhere, from the battlefield to smoke alarms to headsets. Batteries come in all shapes, sizes, and power capacity, to fit all kinds of needs.
Just imagine where the world would be without batteries, and we would be using a crank to start our automobiles. We’d have to cart around long extension cords to bring our boombox to the beach. More and more electric cars are hitting the roads every year and these cars are powered by batteries.
Today is a good time to appreciate the real power of batteries in our everyday life.

Today is National Drink Wine Day. If you’re lucky enough to have a Wine Cellar visit it for a bottle of your favorite Wine, or visit a Liquor Store, and select a Wine. You could rent a limo and invent a friend and go on a Winery tour.
We all know that Apples were the first fruit, in the garden of Eden. Grapes were most likely there, too. It was probably soon after, when Wine was discovered. Could you see a Cave Man, finding Grapes that he had stored in his cave? His kids had accidentally stomped on the Grapes some time before, while playing in the cave. Food was scarce back then. Our Cave Man drank the juice lying in a puddle on the shelf, and the rest is history!
Wine bottles have been discovered dating back to 325A.D.
