Welcome to our series sharing Unique Holidays: April 4th, 2022. I would like to ask you to take a look at the Holidays being celebrated today and let me know which Holiday you most want to celebrate and why. As for me and Charlie we said we will celebrate Walk Around Things Day because with us packing this is all we can do. Otherwise, we are going to trip on something and hurt ourselves which we can’t afford to do.
Hug a Newsman/ Newswomen Day gives you the opportunity to give a great, big hug to your local newsperson. C’mon, admit it. You’ve watched your cute newsman day in and day out and you’ve always told yourself if you ever saw them in person, you would give them a great, big hug.
Any questions on how to celebrate this day?
Walk Around Things Day is an important Holiday to avoid problems and risks, by simply walking around the potential problem. You wouldn’t walk under a ladder, would you? Then, it is also wise to walk around objects which pose risk or danger.
“Walk around things” can also be used figuratively because is also wise to walk around, or avoid, topic issues, and problems that are sticky, could provoke an argument, or not readily solved.

School Librarian Day honors those who serve our young students in local school libraries. The education of young minds needs to be nurtured and fed. Feeding those minds with good quality, challenging reading material and reference materials is what school librarians excel at.
Take a minute today, to share all the hard work that a school librarian does daily, and the patience the librarian displays, as they aid our youth.
You may choose to show your appreciation to School Librarians in the following ways:
- Give the librarian a big “Thank You!”
- Tell you librarian they are doing a wonderful job.

Tell a Lie Day. If you ever need to tell a lie, today is the day to do so. Please, do not make a habit of lying.
We don’t create these Holidays; we only share them. Why someone would create a day to encourage a person to lie is hard to imgaine. Be that as it may, today is the day to tell lies, big or small.
Tomorrow, we can all get back to “honesty is the best policy”.
If you find today a bit upsetting, then you can look forward to National Honesty Day later in the month.
If you choose not to participate in this Holiday, we will look up to you!
