Good evening, again I am trying to get a jump start on tomorrow which is Monday. I PRAY its a busy week with lots of new clients. But if not that is fine because it wasn’t the Lords will. In the meantime I would like to ask you to take a look at the Unique Holidays: April 24th, 2021 and tell me which Holiday you most would like to celebrate and why.
Did I ever tell you Suzzane had a Big Sister through Big Sisters and Big Brothers a organization that gives children a Mentor to do things with while there parents are busy.
Stevie was the Queen and Suzzane was the Princess and I was just a peasant. But that was okay with my. Although, I would have liked to have had a Tiara which none of us had.
Do you know the feeling you get when you put a Tiara on your head? It’s a great feeling. You feel like royalty! A tiara transforms you into the queen, princess or duchess hidden inside of every women or girl.
If you do not come from nobility, you may never have had the chance to wear a Tiara before today. Opportunities and events where a Tiara is worn are few and far between.
International Tiara Day was created, so you can experience this feeling today. This is an annual Holiday. It’s time to purchase a Tiara which you can wear at least once a year!
A Crown versus a Tiara
The difference between a Crown and a T are few. Both are encrusted with Jewels. A Tiara is a type of Crown worn mostly by women. Crowns are circular, while a Tiara is semicircular. Crowns cover the entire head and a Tiara covers only the front part of the head.
How to Celebrate International Tiara Day:
- Wear a Tiara and savor the royal feeling that comes with wearing it.
- With a Tiara firmly affixed atop your head, make Royal proclamations. They can be big or small.
- Research your family roots, to see if any Royalty is in your family tree.
- Pamper yourself and your daughter(s). Give yourselves the Royal treatment at a beauty or nail salon.
- Go to a relaxing spa and get the works.
- Give a Tiara to young girls you know, and watch them smile!
- Go to a high end restaurant. If you order a steak, we suggest the “Queen” cut.
- Buy new clothes or Jewelry that is befitting a person of your high, noble stature.
- With your Tiara on your head, go online and read about the Queen Mum.
- Watch movies that feature Tiara so you know how to act.
Happy International Tiara Day
Like I mentioned when I shared my post for Food Holidays for today I don’t plan on trying Escargot but you might want to. If you need a recipe just click here.
It’s National Escargot Day. Let’s go out and eat some Snails. Which is considered a delicacy by some. For many others, the thought of feasting on Snails is just too yucky.
The approved way of celebrating National Escargot Day is by eating a plate of Snails. For those who can’t bring themselves and their stomachs to the table, we suggest to you give Escargot gift certificates to family and friends!
Victoria Day(Canada) – Monday preceding the 25th
If your named Victoria this isn’t a day to celebrate you before you ask. Its in honor or Queen Victoria. But that doesn’t mean we can’t still have some Cake and celebrate.
Victoria Day is held in honor of Queen Victoria (1837-1901) to celebrate the birthday of the popular, long reigning queen of England. Victoria Day is celebrated in England, Canada and other former British colonies and territories. Queen Victoria’s 63 year reign of the huge global British Empire, was the longest of all monarchs.
In Canada, Victoria Day is a Federal holiday. After the Queen’s death an act of the Canadian Parliament established this holiday on May 24th. In 1952, it was moved to the Monday preceding May 25th, and became an official Canadian Federal holiday.
Thank you,
