Unique Holidays: April 2022: International Guitar Month

The Mommies Reviews

Did you know this month celebrates INTERNATIONAL GUITAR MONTH? David used to play the Guitar before he and I got together. Not, only that Charlie has his own Guitar which he hasn’t ever played. But with us moving and Charlie continuing to Homeschool I might see if I can get Charlie and David to pick up the Guitar and we can all play as a family. Would you like to join us?

International Guitar Month in April inspires the world to strum and pick their way through chords. The Guitar dates back to 15th Century Spain and has contributed to music history ever since.

Five centuries later, humans electrified the guitar bringing a whole new sound to the stage. Musicians of every kind found inspiration and a creative outlet in the guitar.

Guitar players have contributed to many styles of music including:

  • Folk
  • Blues
  • Rock
  • Country
  • Metal

Whether you play guitar, or your talent is in listening, the month is wide open to celebrate. Guitars bring joy whether we play them or listen to the music they produce.
