Life is crazy and sometimes it manifests its way into things we wouldn’t have usually thought about which is what happened. As you know I’m behind in the Ultimate Blog Challenge but I’m not going to let that sop my from finishing the challenge. As I looked up this morning’s prompt it asked about our bucket lets.
What is the on your bucket list? Share with your readers something that is on the list of things you want to do before you, “kick the bucket.”
This is funny because 15 years ago I begin this blog as a way to remain at home with Charlie while giving us a chance to attend events, review products Charlie would like and at times bring in a little bit of money. Fast forward to today Charlie is 16 and graduating in May. Looking for his first job and even talking of moving out in 2 years.
My bucket list used to include things we could do a as a family Charlie would enjoy like visiting the Basketball Hall of Fame or traveling to places he would like to visit. Soon it will be just David and I and as much as I love my husband I don’t even know what we will talk about or things we would want to do without Charlie.
Its time to find not only myself but my husband and also decide if we want to keep the blog and sharing reviews and Homeschool tips to help other parents or to change the blog into a Empty Nester site. So many questions and so little time. Looks like we have some hard decisions to make in the future and we need to make them not because David’s parents are getting older and there going to need more help and as much as I love them I don’t want to lose David and I when he steps in to help them.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
Sounds like you are moving into a new, still enjoyable phase of life.
