Can you believe we are almost at the end of week 3 of January. Were is the time going? Valentines will be here before we know and in the blink of an eye I knew year. This morning in the Ultimate Blog Challenge January 19th, 2023 Day 19 we was asked to share our bucket list for everyone. I know most people have one and at one time I also did.
This year I’ve decided I’m not going to create a long term bucket list or New Years resolutions. Instead I am just going to do monthly goal or weekly goals that are more manageable for me. This weeks goal was to get more done on the blog that had to be done and to grow our sponsored post which we were able to do.
Then find one new place we haven’t visited to bring our family to for fun as well as a Homeschool Field Trip and I did that. This morning were going to African American Museum, Dallas and this evening we will see Shotgun Wedding at Alamo Drafthouse which is going to lead to new lessons in Charlie’s Homeschool Class. we still have to get our steps in. For that I joined Age Disruptors Perimenopause-Menopause Support & Solutions. I’m having fun trying to get in 7500 steps each day and again yesterday through the LORDS help I was able to accomplish that.
If you have something local you think we should see or do that I could add to my bucket list please let me know. As there is so many little Towns around us that we’ve never been to that I would like to get out and visit them. As well as check out the local restaurants and music. If your up to a Road Trip or Company and are around 2 to 3 hours from Dallas/ Fort Worth leave me a comment and I will come visit. Or your welcome to come and visit me.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
Great travel challenge ideas. Yesterday I went strawberry picking and it was so much fun to do new things locally.
I love setting more manageable monthly goals and focusing on the present rather than a long-term bucket list. It’s a great way to stay motivated and make progress toward our aspirations. I love that you also incorporate fun and educational field trips for your family and homeschooling.
Also, I’ll take you up on your offer if I’m ever in the area and let you know if I want to join for a road trip. Thanks for sharing your journey and ideas.
Never quite deeloped a bucket list. (Even when I was told that bucket was about to be filled). But, I do set goals routinely- and love making them. Loved yours.
(Here’s an idea for you and your boy…https://adjuvancy.com/wordpress/2023/01/19/not-a-dream-but-a-future-reality/ )
I don’t have a bucket list or New Year resolutions either. I’m like you I’d rather work on a short term goal. Good luck on all your goals!
