Ultimate Blog Challenge January 15th, 2024 Day 15

The Mommies Reviews

Good morning, how are you? I was so excited to wake up this morning to SNOW. Before you ask yes, we do get snow in Texas even if it isn’t enough to do anything with it’s snow. It’s also cold and below freezing as its 8 degrees here. The LORD has been watching over me and I’ve been careful so this time the cold hasn’t been making me hurt.

As I looked through the list for the prompt in this morning’s Ultimate Blog Challenge for January 15th, 2024 Day 15 we was asked to create a resource list and I thought about making one but knew I needed to get as much work as I can encase the electric goes out like it does a lot of times when we have bad Weather or there is pipe bursting in the complex which means out water would be turned off.

I need to get off and fill bowls for the dogs upstairs and downstairs. Make sure there is drinks in the Ice Box to get us through the next couple days. Then check what leftovers we have and make sure there is enough for the next couple days. I’m PRAYING David remembers to stop by the store on his way home to pick up a loaf of bread if there is any left in the stores and a Pizza or two for Charlie.

If not when David gets home he will have to go back to the store because I know he isn’t going to want me out in the cold or driving on these roads. I guess I better get off and check and see if there is anything else we need from the store. I hope you have a wonderful week and stay warm and safe.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates

  1. Enjoy your at home time. It’s good to be prepared in case the electricity goes out, especially if it goes out at night! Here, in Buffalo, I am looking out the window at the snow. It’s still pretty and white, but it’s so incredibly cold outside (18 degrees). It’s much nicer inside with a cup of warm tea and a sleeping cat. Thank you for reminding me that life is good and it’s the simple pleasures that matter.

  2. Praying with you about the bread and the pizza! Love that you got snow. Wish we had gotten some here in GA. Those snoopy pants are so cute. Have a great day!

  3. I almost see a smile Glenda! Now you have to get inside and stay warm! My granddaughter and her 3 kiddos are visiting her mom in Virginia and they were so excited when it snowed last night!
