Ultimate Blog Challenge for April 2018 Day 8

I know it is past April 8th but I wanted to complete the Ultimate Blog Challenge for April 2018 Day 8, so I am back working furiously to catch up with everyone. Although even if I don’t make it at least, I am trying to complete what I started because it isn’t right to start something and not follow through.

David and I have been having this conversation over and over with Charlie. As he hasn’t been following through on his chores or his homework. So this morning while David was at work I sat down with David and talked to him about the challenge and how I was failing at it but planned on changing it this morning. I hope Charlie understood why I was telling him this and that he becomes better at following through on the things he needs to do.

Here is the prompt for today post:

As a blogger/writer, do you take the weekend off? Which might seem like a paradox, however, I invite you to write a post about why you work on the weekend, or why you do not work on the weekend.

For some people, you work online so that you can work when you want to and take time off when you want. For others, you work on the weekend because that is the ‘free time’ you have because you are still at a job.

Share with your readers what you are doing!

In my family when Charlie was born, I had declared Sundays family day, and we wouldn’t work or be on the electronics although things have changed throughout the year. As David works on Sundays now and he has Thursdays off. So a lot of time we are out running errands, and I am not able to get online on Thursday, so I end up making up work on Saturday and Sunday.

Unless Charlie wants us to do something on the weekend, then I take it off. Of if we have company, I will not work. For my family, it depends on what went on during the week.

I have a question for you do you work on the weekends or do you take them off?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie, and David Cates
