Good morning, I wish you a happy and Blessed Tuesday. I would like to welcome you to our Ultimate Blog Challenge February 23rd post. How are you doing in the challenge?
Charlie’s question of the day from his book 3000 Pick One Questions. Pick This or Pick That….
Mahjong or Dominoes? (Why)?
For me personally I would say Mahjong. I like to play Games when I’m stressed and need a few minutes to myself. I can play Mahjong by myself. I don’t have to talk.
I play Mahjong on the Computer at least once a day because David got me interested in this Game right after we started dating. David would play Mahjong all the time.
David loves to play Dominoes and knows a lot more Games than I do. But he plays Mahjong more because he doesn’t have time to sit down and play Games the way he works.
But I’m Praying that changes soon. I will be using more #BoardGames in our #homeschooling because I believe its a good way to get Charlie more interested in his studies.
Charlie says Dominoes because he plays them with me and he hasn’t ever played Mahjong. I want to get Charlie on the Computer this week and have him play Mahjong because I believe its a good game to teach Charlie patience.
If you Homeschool your children and you use Board Games which ones are your favorite and why? What do you try and teach your children through Board Games?
If you have enjoyed the questions we have been sharing with you from our book 3000 Pick One Questions Pick This or Pick That yesterday Charlie and I went to Target and we picked up another book in the series we will begin using next month.
3000 Questions About Me:
Discover the key to self-awareness and personal growth by… asking yourself questions! Why? Because you are important! Our new journal, 3000 Questions About Me, is a fun way to get to know yourself.
By allowing self-reflection, you will begin thinking in new ways, shine a light on your very own unique internal thought processes to find out how your mind works and allow some healthy introspection.
Which of these books would you rather read and why?
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
Definitely Dominoes! I remember playing them with my grandfather when I was young. When my mom had Alzheimer’s I would pull them out and we would build towers to see how high we could go. When the tower fell, she laughed so hard. It was sad to see her go downhill but seeing her smile and laugh like a happy child when we played with dominoes is something I will always remember.
I enjoy playing board games when I was younger. I believe I played dominoes, but I haven’t tried mahjong.
