It’s Friday and what a interesting week it has been.. Snow, and more #Snow#snowpocalypse2021 I Pray things are getting back to normal soon. How are you doing in the Ultimate Blog Challenge? Were more than half way through and I am proud to say this time I have managed to stay caught up. Patting myself on my back….
Before I begin work this morning Charlie wanted to share his Question of the Day from 3000 Pick One Questions. Pick this or Pick That. Which is my post for Ultimate Blog Challenge February 19th.
Campfire or Bonfire? (Why)
When Charlie asked me this question I had Charlie look up what the difference because a Campfire and Bonfire is. I thought they were the same. Instead of me being the teacher this morning it was a #teachingmoment for Charlie.
What is the difference between a Campfire and a Bonfire?
A bonfire is much bigger than a campfire. They’re typically built for a celebration, large outdoor event, or used as a signaling device. While a bonfire is a controlled fire, the overall size makes the fire more hazardous than the smaller campfire.
David says he would take a Campfire because he likes to Camp Out and he can make dinner on it.
Charlie also said he would prefer a Campfire because he knows how to make one from Boy Scouts and can stay warm while camping out.
Of course I have to be different. I would like a Bonfire and to do a Outside Celebration like they did in #grease.
But a Campfire were I could Roast Weenies and Charlie could make Smores which would be fun to. But not in the #Firepit a real Campfire…
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
Somehow I thought a campfire and bonfire are the same! This is very interesting indeed
Lovely post, Glenda. You’ve got me imagining a big fire surrounded by friends and family. Can’t wait!
I vote for the campfire or better yet, the fire pit. Thank you for sharing the different sides and explaining the difference. Great post!
