WOW! Can you believe it is already the 9th of October? Before we know it Halloween will be here. So before I run some errands with my dad. I wanted to come and share today’s prompt with you for the Ultimate Blog Challenge. As today may end up crazy busy and I might not be able to get back on here until who knows when.
Since my blog is such a Hodge Podge of things I wanted to share where I would like to go. Forget the business for just a second and share with you my dreams for myself and my family. If you had asked me where I wanted to visit before Suzzane was killed she and I had two trips we planned on taking when she turned 16 and also when she graduated.
The first trip we wanted to do was just get on Route 66 and drive until we ran out of money or raid whichever came first. Then the second trip we wanted to take was a trip to Hawaii to lay on the Beach and have someone bring us drinks all day long. Although we would have went to see Elvis mansion as well as that was my dream and Suzzane wanted me to be able to visit it as I had always put her first she said.
Now, that Suzzane is gone I could still go to any of those places but it wouldn’t be the same without here and I don’t think Charlie and David would enjoy any of those trips. So being the mom I am I have planned a Blogging Trip in May to Wichita Falls, TX where we will be attending the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame Ceremony as it is something both Charlie and David would love.
As for me not so much but as long as they are happy that is all that matters to me and I know it would be a once in a life time trip for Charlie. Then later in the year hopefully we can all find somewhere we all would like to visit. Maybe even just a Staycation in a Hotel the main thing to me is for us all to be together.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
My dream destination is to visit italy but it’s still a dream may it turns to be true some day
Professional Wrestling…
I’m sorry, I find that absolutely hilarious…
Do they share the scripts, too?
Sounds like wonderful trip you would plan, so sorry you and your daughter never had that chance. But she is watching from above, smiling at what a great mom you are. <3
So sorry about your daughter. That would be a hard trip to take on Rt. 66. Maybe someday in the far future you can go. I would love to go a few different places (Grand Canyon, Ireland, Scotland, Hawaii), but I think most of my major traveling will wait until the kids are older.
