Ultimate Blog Challenge Day 7 July 2018, we were to write about something fun. I am excited because it’s Saturday here, and I am heading to the pool with my family in a little bit. As for which pool we are going to I can’t tell you as we haven’t decided yet. All I can say is I can’t wait for many reasons, but the most important reason is I want to spend time with David and Charlie.
Charlie and I have been blessed the last two Saturdays as David took them off to spend with us. Now you might say you live together so what is the big ideal of David taking off and being with you. It’s because David always works a lot and puts in overtime so by the time he gets home there isn’t much time to spend with him before he goes to bed. So today it’s all about family.
Another reason I am so excited about this weekend is my stepdaughter, Leslie, and her husband moved back last night as well so sometime today David and I will be able to see her and her son Elijah who we haven’t seen for a couple of months. Toby is officially out of the Army now and home for good with his family which is a Blessing as we don’t have to worry about him.
On Tuesday evening, I have decided to take myself to see Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again which I have been waiting to see forever. There are a couple of other movies; I want to watch although I am going to see Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. Charlie and David can come with me to see the movie I picked out, or they can do a Guys Day find another film to watch because I am not giving up the film I want to see for anyone.
I hate going by myself to the movies although I did it when I wanted to see Book Club, and I will try again this week because sometimes it’s nice to get away from everyone and spend time with pampering yourself. If you have seen Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again what did you think of the movie and why? Was Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again as good as the first one?
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
I am one of those people that loves to watch a movie by myself. I figure that I am not going to be talking to anyone anyway during the movie, why not go solo?
Of course, the conversation AFTER the movie is light, unless I get into a debate by myself!
Have a great weekend!
Having a DEBATE with ourselves sometimes is better than having one with someone else. After thinking about your comment your right I am not going to talk to anyone else so why take someone with me? I also wish you a fantastic weekend.
I’m so glad David got to spend time with you two these last two Saturdays! What an absolute blessing 🙂
It was a Blessing and just what Charlie needed as he was missing his dad a lot.
