Ultimate Blog Challenge April 2020 Day 14

The Mommies Reviews

Please help me in wishing David’s dad a Happy happy Birthday as he turns 77 today. I had wanted to purchase dinner and a cobbler for them. But not knowing what is going to happen to David’s job we didn’t have the money to make them dinner.

Then I thought about making a Roast which I have in the freezer and taking them some of it. Granny made a Roast on Sunday for Easter so that was out as well.

I decided Charlie could make David Sr. a Birthday card for Art class this morning allowing me to get my work done. Charlie and David could go down and mow there yard so David Sr. wouldn’t have to.

Now that they’re gone I can concentrate on my own site and catch up. For the Ultimate Blog Challenge April 2020 Day 14 our prompt was to review a book or movie we have recently seen.

I am in the process of reading two books one of them is by Debbie Macomber If Not For You. I believe I’ve read If Not For You in the past and its the reason If Not For You is lying on the Coffee Table for a month. If I do finish If Not For You I will review it. If you have read If Not For You what did you think of it and why?

The second book is published by Danielle Steel and its Moral Compass. I have gotten about two or three chapters Moral Compass read. But I’m at a standstill there is a part I can’t seem to move past. I’m hopping I can this week as I do want to see what happens.

Have you read Moral Compass? If so what did you think of it and why? What books or movies have you been watching and what did you think of them and why?

As for movies David wants to see Trolls World Tour and Charlie wants to watch Onward. I would like to see I Still Believe from the creators of Can Only Imagine comes an inspiring, real-life love story for the ages about chart-topping singer Jeremy Camp.

I Still Believe reminds me of A Walk to Remember with Mandy Moore which is one of mine and Suzzie’s favorite movies. I wish she was here to watch I Still Believe with me and if its as good as I Can Only Imagine this is going to be a incredible movie.

  1. Those sound like interesting books. I’ve put them both on hold to read, once my library opens back up. I’ve been reading Yellow Bird, by Sierra Crane Murdoch. It’s about a woman, Lissa Yellow Bird, on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in North Dakota and her steps to find out what happened to Kristopher Clarke, who disappeared from his reservation worksite.
