Ultimate Blog Challenge April 2018 Day 17 well, well, well. I am on Day 16 and let me tell you I am beginning to think that I will ever ever ever finish this challenge. Although like the Little Engine that could I think I can, I think I can, I know I can, and I will somehow someway finish this challenge.
Let’s check out today’s prompt
Welcome to Day 17! It is another excellent day to be on the Ultimate Blog Challenge!
It is WHAT?!
Today is Bat Appreciation Day! Who knew!
On your blog, you can write about your favorite species of the bat! Why do you like it? What makes it your favorite?
OK – We are just kidding about that (unless you DO have a favorite species of the bat!)
Instead, you can mention today’s special day and relate it to something that you might not like to do. Perhaps you are not enjoying one aspect of your business, but you push through that because you know it is right for you (just like having bats around are good to keep down the mosquito population).
Maybe you want to relate how bats make a migration each year and talk about your annual trip to visit your parents or your grandchildren, or how you celebrate a holiday each year.
Let us reiterate one more time. You do not have to blog 100% of the time solely about your niche. Your readers like to connect with you on a personal level.
When you share these sort of personal insider stories about yourself, you are deepening the relationship you have with your readers!
These are just some ideas you can use – like them, great! If not, come up with your own.
Don’t forget to share your Day 17 post first on your website, and then head over to the Facebook group at http://www.facebook.com/groups/UltimateBlogChallenge and share the URL of your post with the group.
If you are tweeting, use the #blogboost to let folks know you are part of the community!
Bats are an animal I do not mind as long as they are not to close to me. Although I could see Charlie and David playing with them if it was possible because nothing scares them.I think I will talk to Charlie and see if he would like to study bats in our classroom. Once we decide we will have to research Bats so I would like to know if you know anything about Bats we could use in our Studies?
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie, and David Cates
