Can you believe that it is Day 19 already in the Ultimate Blog Challenge Day 19? Wow! The Ultimate Blog Challenge 2016 Day 19 is flying challenge is flying by!
This morning when I opened up the email with the prompt for the Ultimate Blog Challenge they said the following ” I always think about Ferris Bueller’s quote, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.” And I agree with this quote as life does move so fast.
So this morning I sat down with Charlie to begin his Homeschooling and as I did I couldn’t believe how grown he is. And that he will be 9 in December. My question is “where has the time gone”? As I sat there and thought about it I went back to what this mornings email said about a “BUCKET LIST’ and what we would like to do.
I have created a Bucket List several times in my life and they have been for things I wanted to do with myself. Or with Suzzane before she passed away and now that she is gone I would still like to fulfill mine and her dreams. As I know she would see me and know that I did the things we talked about. Then I sit and look at David and David and I have some things we would like to do together and places we would like to travel. And they could be just David and I, or David by himself or Charlie and David or us all as a family. Then as I look at Charlie I know we need to get to work on our Bucket List as he will be grown soon and be to big to do things with us.
So as I sit her I Pray that I am able to do some of the things Charlie has asked to do and and that David returns to work soon and we can start to put money away so we can take a Vacation. Even if it is a Staycation as I want to spend some time with Charlie and do the things I haven’t been able to do with Charlie and David. As I do not want something to happen to one of us like it did with Suzzane and it be to late to spend time together on a Vacation or Staycation.
