The other day Turbulences: arrived and I had sat it down on the Coffee table to read this week. While I was picking up the coffee table I noticed the book was missing. I asked Charlie if he had moved it and he said no. I waited for David to get home and asked him about the book. David said he had it in his backpack to read during lunch because the cover captured his attention with the Airplane and all the red.
Charlie said he had even shown the book to his boss and Stanley was planning on picking up a copy of the book. I asked David if he had begun to read the story and he said yes and that it’s full of danger and suspense and that the book is hard to put down.I told David I thought my dad would have liked the story if he was still here because it is a political thriller set in an alternate Yugoslavia. David agreed with me.
David said he liked the mystery and danger, in the story and at times he felt like he was with the characters. I also read the book and I enjoyed the historical elements in the novel. The story follows Esad Kajan, an airline pilot for Yugoslav Airlines, who is thrust into a whirlwind of revelation following a tragic car accident that claims his friend’s life. What begins as a personal tragedy soon escalates into a gripping battle against insurmountable odds.

Edin was born in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina, when it was still part of Yugoslavia. He’s an avid reader and an aviation enthusiast.
