TrainTopia – A Railroad Odyssey in Miniature is open to the public!. TrainTopia is located inside the Frisco Discovery Center (8004 N. Dallas Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75034). TrainTopia hours of operation are Wednesday – Saturday 10 am – 5 pm and Sundays 1 pm – 5 pm. Please note that TrainTopiatickets are now available for purchase online, and also onsite at the Frisco Discovery Center (8004 N. Dallas Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75034). Admission is $8/adult and $4/child (ages 3-12).
TrainTopia will be closed on major holidays, as well as November 21.
TrainTopia is presented by the Museum of the American Railroad. The exhibit is a gift of Jane Sanders and her daughters and is made possible by Amanda and Brint Ryan.
This one-of-a-kind experience features running G-scale trains on a 2,500 sq. ft. layout, a custom light show which takes the exhibit from daylight to nighttime, and hundreds of miniature automobiles and people. The exhibit spans Arizona to Texas, from the dramatic rock formations of the Four Corners region near New Mexico, to a thriving Northeast Texas in the early 1960s. Also featured is an animated downtown Dallas street scene, the Palo Duro Drive-In Theater with a movie playing, West Texas refineries and working saw mills in Colorado! With approximately ¼ mile of G-scale track, this exhibit is sure to please families of all ages.
TrainTopia tickets are available for purchase at various times throughout days of operation. Please choose the time that is best for your visit at the time of purchase. Exhibit times are staged throughout the day to allow for maximum room capacity.

Snapshots is a touching new musical with songs adapted from other shows of Stephen Schwartz, including Wicked, Pippin, Godspell, The Baker’s Wife and many more. The story takes place in the attic of Sue and Dan, a couple whose marriage has fallen apart after 30 years together. Sue, who is about to leave her husband, has gone to the attic to retrieve a hidden suitcase when Dan comes home early. During the encounter, a box of photographs falls to the floor and leads them to relive the memories of their past selves captured in the snapshots.
