Together We Ride Published by Valerie Bolling
Charlie and I’ve been talking about Riding Bikes this week, but it is too cold to get outside. We don’t have an Exercise Bike I decided I would find books for Charlie and I to read. As well as games for Charlie and to play once David leaves to work.
Charlie and I flipped through Together We Ride we looked at the book Charlie let me know this is the perfect beginning reading book for children of all ages. I thought Charlie might get bored with this story, but he didn’t and reading it led to discussions of when Charlie learned to read a bike.
As well as ways he can teach small kids in our family to learn to ride bikes. We discussed Bike Safety and even created more stories about this book and Charlie created pictures for Charlie’s Homeschool Art Class. Charlie and I can’t wait to look and see if the Author has other books in print and if so, we want to get them as well.
