I would like to share a new children’s book Tiny T. Rex And The Tricks of Treating written by Jonathan Stutzman and Illustrated by Jay Fleck I received in exchange for this review.
Even though Halloween is still a ways away I couldn’t wait to sit down and read Tiny T. Rex And The Tricks of Treating because the picture on the cover was so cute and drew me into the story line.
Charlie saw the book laying on my desk and picked it up to look through and before I knew what was happening Charlie begin to read the book to me. Before I knew what I was doing I had stopped working/
I ended up looking over Charlie’s shoulder to see what would happen. While doing this David walked up and asked Charlie to start the book all over. David said he wanted to hear the story from the beginning.
I can tell you just from David saying this and Charlie reading the book without arguing that both of them liked the story a lot and would need to be added to our #Homeschool Library.
Once we finished reading the story Charlie let me know this is the perfect book for my niece Daisy who is only 2 1/2 but Charlie also let me know children of all ages would love this new book and that it would be a perfect Gift to give as Halloween Gifts.
Then Charlie let me know words he stumbled on we could add to our Spelling Journal. Then David and Charlie discussed how we could use this book in our Art Class.
Charlie even said we could go on a Nature Hike and look for treats or snacks for the Tiny T. Rex to have as a snack which is perfect for our Cooking Class.
All in all I can see Tiny T. Rex And The Tricks Of Treating can and should be read year round by both children and adults alike. Not only during the daytime but as a Nighttime Story.

About Jonathan Stutzman
Hi! My name is Jonathan and I’m an author of children’s books.
Some of my books are silly, some of them are sweet, some of them are a mix of both… and many of them have to do with food (I’m making myself hungry right now thinking about it). I grew up LOVING books of all kinds (I still do) and I’m so so happy I can spend my life writing stories that kids of all ages can enjoy.
One of the best parts of reading is finding books that we can enjoy over and over again. I found many through the years, and I’m still discovering new ones. I hope one (or ALL) of my books end up being special for you… or none, if they aren’t quite your style…the most important part is finding something YOU love.
So happy searching and happy reading!
