The ladies in my family loves to color and I’ve loveed giving out coloring books at Christmas. As soon as I saw Tingle Boots Coloring Book from Suzy Toronto, I knew I wanted to check the coloring book out.
4 reasons why I needed Tingle Boots Coloring Book
A) The Author’s name is Suzy and that is what we used to call Suzzane.
B) I live in Texas and boots are big here. In fact, I used to have a pair of Cowboy Boots back in High School and I plan on getting both Charlie and I a pair of Cowboy Boots.
C) Suzy talks about Girlfriends and I could see a group of us getting together and coloring. Especially with me working with Scrapbook consultants.
D) Coloring books help people with Breast Cancer relax and focus. My Aunt passed away from Breast Cancer.
First and foremost, though is this statement Suzy made:
“Pretending to be normal day after day is exhausting,”
Because I try and do that every day and yes, it is exhausting. You all know I my daughter passed away and there are days I do not even want to crawl out of bed. To know someone else feels the same way means the world to me
“Pretending to be normal day after day is exhausting,” says Suzy Toronto. Toronto is a self-proclaimed “wacky” woman, and she wants others to embrace their inner wackiness too. In fact, she’s created an entire art brand that speaks (mostly) to girls and women, inspiring them to embrace their rarity, goofiness, and everything that makes them unique—no matter how silly it may seem.
Toronto works out of her home studio in Smyrna Beach, Florida where she creates playful and distinctive artwork for a variety of products—from mugs to coloring books to cell phone covers and everything in between. Her newest creations come in the form of coloring books with her latest book, Tingle Boots, stating loud and proud that “life is better in boots.”
Four additional books comprise this series: Friendship Coloring Book, Sisterhood Coloring Book, Inspiration & Encouragement Coloring Book, and Light & Laughter Coloring Book. In each book, Suzy Toronto sprinkles encouraging and empowering quotes. “Release your inner child and believe in yourself again,” Toronto says. “There’s more inside you than you ever dreamed possible!”
Toronto also advocates on behalf of breast cancer survivors. Some of her product proceeds benefit cancer research. Ultimately, Toronto’s goal is to continue empowering women. “We believe in women. We uplift women. We empower women. And we support women whenever and however we can,” she says.

Best-selling artist and writer Suzy Toronto’s distinctive artwork and inspiring words celebrate life, family, and the special bond between girlfriends. For two decades her distinctive artwork and humorous wisdom have been popular gift items. Her signature drawings of madcap women with wild hair and brightly colored attire can be found on greeting cards, calendars, bookmarks, magnets, and more. Suzy is the author of 10 books, including The Sacred Sisterhood of Wonderful Wacky Women and Live a Life Worth Living.
I have a question for you which of the coloring books mentioned would you like to have and why? Do you enjoy coloring? Do you prefer to do it in a group or alone? Do you share your crayons and coloring book? I will but I hate to share as no, one colors like me, and it upsets me to see others coloring on my papers.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
