As we work on gathering items, we would need to use in Homeschool next year Charlie mentioned he would like to learn more about wrestling. The other day when I was at the Book Store, I picked up WWE: Book of Top 10s for us to use in our classroom. As well as for Charlie to read each evening.
Charlie is required to read for 20 minutes a day and with WWE: Book of Top 10s he can read a couple of pages and make that time limit in no time. As we looked through the book one of the features, I liked was knowing Charlie can begin anywhere in the book and it would make sense So if something doesn’t interest him or if there is something special, he would like to learn about he can skip to that section.
Charlie flipped through WWE: Book of Top 10s he was so excited to learn things he didn’t know and to continue his learning by reading the facts online which used spelling and patience which Charlie needed to practice. Charlie even sat down and started drawing some of the things he saw in the book which means he was getting an art class completed.
Charlie surprised me when he asked me if I would help him design clothes for his wrestlers which would lead to a math class as he will need to measure the clothes and cut them out. Then we have to sew them and to make the outfits realistic we can refer to the book and copy the outfits inside it in our own colors.
