The Waiting Room is a fictional story that begins in 1983 when three ladies meet in there doctors office and the story ends in 2020. They become the best of friends with an unbreakable bond and share everything. I love how the ladies build a life-long friendship. I really enjoyed the plot and think this story would make a good book to share with our girlfriends and we should club like Oprah and producers should turn the story into a movie especially for Halmark.

These women are very entertaining! Even though they are all employed in different lines of work: (Allison) loan officer in a bank; (Marianne) paralegal in large law office; and (Bella) oncology doctor for children. You can feel the respect and love they have for each other reminding me of my girlfriends.

The author broke up the timeframe using chapters and skipping 34 years to tell rest of story and didn’t leave us hanging like a lot of books due. I laughed and I cried and at times I couldn’t put the book down. If you like romance and mystery then the Waiting Room is the perfect book for you because a murder occurs to someone who rooms with Allison and it goes unsolved for years. The ladies are single when they first meet and each marries the love of their life. However, nothing keeps them apart.

About the book:

The Waiting Room is a delightful romp with three women who meet in the waiting room of a doctor’s office and grow to become life-long friends. After Allison’s roommate goes missing and later is found dead, the man they identify as a suspect stirs up trouble for them.
Fortunately, life has its way of making things right, and so it was left to the three women to see things through to the end and correct a wrong.
Years later, when the friends gather, they realize the waiting room they’re now in is actually the space between here and there – a timeless space where you choose how to live your remaining years.
Humorous, honest, and tender, The Waiting Room will steal your heart and hold it captive long after you finish turning the last page. It’s a book worth sharing with others, especially with those you love.
