The Voice in the Well by Colin Reitman Yet? (Review)

The Mommies Reviews

#Sponosred I thought I would share a book full of magic with you called The Voice in the Well Kindle Edition by Colin Reitman (Author). I received a PDF Copy of the book from the Author and Voracious Readers in exchange for this review. Inside this post is my affiliate links if you click on the links and make a purchase I will make a small percentage off the items you purchase.

The amount of description that is throughout The Voice in the Well Kindle Edition by Colin Reitman is a little excessive although if you love fantasy and magic, with a few social messages snuck in including gender, early exploration of romantic relationships but nothing racier than some kissing) like me you will love this book..

The Author uses fantasy and magic to also explore more practical YA themes like self-confidence, resiliency, and healing from trauma. Appealing to anyone who has ever felt like they are different and don’t fit in, anyone who has ever felt capable of greatness, but also hopelessly incompetent.

About the Book:

The Voice in the Well: A Young Adult Fantasy

Billy McCloud is a nervous, fourteen-year-old boy living in the Midwestern United States. Like many other teens his age, Billy wishes for a world beyond the drudgery of suburban life. Little does he know, his dreams are about to come true (for better or for worse).

His life is figuratively and literally turned upside down when he inadvertently stumbles into a universe of quirky sorcerers, enchanted lands, terrifying monsters, and at the center of it all, the magical energies that flow between worlds.

In The Voice in the Well, Billy must learn to harness magic and confront the darkness within himself lest he—and the rest of the universe—be consumed from the inside out.
