Tunnel Creek Ambush (Love Inspired Suspense) by Kerry Johnson (Author) was a book I sat on my desk. While working I would find myself looking at the cover again and again. I liked the Dog on the cover and I wanted to bring the dog home with me to get him out of the cold. I couldn’t wait to see where the dogs place in the story was. The author didn’t disappoint me with the dog.
Tunnel Creek Ambush remined me of David and I. David is my high school sweetheart who like the gentleman in the book steeped in to protect me. Through the book you’re going to find romance and suspense although there isn’t very much romance and for me personally, I would have liked more romance but less suspense which wouldn’t have worked with Tunnel Creek Ambush and the Author knew that.
I can’t wait till the second book of this trilogy which come out in November and before you ask yes, I do hope there is more romance but I’m not going to hold my breath and you shouldn’t either. Tunnel Creek Ambush is a relatively short book, with action that never stops as danger lurks for unknown reasons, which proves to be a full of twists, turns, and unexpected surprises.
Here is a fun fact you might not have picked up on from the title Tunnel Creek Ambus is a Christian based novel based on a second chance romance or you would think so until you began reading the novel and find out there is zero romance, with the exception of the epilogue although there is plenty of clean suspense and action.
